I have actually been a teacher, more than once. Usually in places like colleges or universities, where looking relatively young in comparison to some of the others means I have to behave more formally to get taken seriously. And the way I act now, with you — I haven't always been like that. The core of who I am stays the same, but I adapt... the way I hold myself, the way I talk, the language I choose, based on the cultural perceptions of where I am. That role was still me, it was just contextually different.
