most of them are. the youngest one i know is seventy or so. the oldest...

（ old man yama comes to mind. he didn't know the guy well enough to grieve, but the impact of his loss echoed throughout seireitei. he's never forgotten that urahara's spirit blade was forged on his order. ）

probably like 3000 or so i guess.

but i was born in the human world. aged normally. went to school. i thought i was human until not too long ago.

and yeah, they do. but a shinigami is born in the spirit world and ages there. it just wasn't the path of my life.
